Although I'm not much at lip reading & I wear hearing aids, I still managed to understand most of what those two were muttering.

But begorrah, few understood the fake sign language interpreter Thami Jantjie who was last seen on worldwide TV some years ago at the Nelson Mandela memorial service gesticulating gibberish. :-S

The two drunken chaps were speaking in Irish Gaelic - not Scottish Gaelic.

But I doubt if many listeners to the aforesaid item are particularly interested in such technical stuff. And I don't blame them either! :-D

I only heard slurred words......... except for the "F" & "B" words.

They could always sit on it to have a rest, before resuming their journey. Perhaps taking a jar or two while recuperating.
