Lyn, I don't use my Tesco card much as M and S and Sainsbury are within walking distance of me. It sounds good though. :-D

Dermot, I heard that news at lunchtime - thought it was all over with but obviously not. :-S

The young 'un's been picked up by his Dad a tad early so I have the evening to faff about :-D :-D :-D

Hya all :-D :-D <3 <3

Joy - you mentioned loyalty cards. I don't always shop at Tesco, but find their loyalty card invaluable. For us, it pays for our annual Eurotunnel crossing, and £100 off bookings at Cottages 4 You, including those in France, - and there's loads more ways of using your points. We also have a Nectar card, mostly for Sainsburys, but don't find it very worthwhile, as the points given aren't very generous. :-D

Hi Fly, what colour top are you knitting? <3

I wonder if Ann** read about the Sparks points debacle at M & S? Apparently the number of points you get when shopping is going to drop drastically per pound.

Not sure whether it will be worth having any loyalty cards soon. I decided to shop at Morrisons this year for my big shops. We don't have one here but it's a very short drive away and with Morrison's lower prices I made my decision to shop there for much of the time as I think the savings will outweigh the cost of fuel. My sister never does big shops now, preferring to go out almost every morning.

What does everyone on here do? :-D

Morning All. <3 :-D

Hope you find Flossy in the pink today, Mersey.

Just finished reading yesterday's thread in order to catch up whatever I had missed. Who stropped?

Bright, sunny and cold here. Went shopping before 9 am and it was -2 degrees, with frosty roofs but a clear road to the shops. Put the shopping in the car then met friends for coffee.

Checked the computer and I think I have overloaded it with about 20 years-worth of stuff :-S So ... I'll probably delete a lot and see then whether it is OK. I just don't see how a computer can wear out unless you mistreat it; also I'm mean when it comes to buying electrical things before I need to do so.

Hey ho :-D :-D
