Have used the same numbers since day one .
My tickets ran out on Wedneday and I forgot to renew my online acct this week.

4 numbers came up last night. :-| :-| :-|
15, 16, 23 & 48

Even more annoying is that my online acct is in credit, there was enough in it to renew all the lines for another 4weeks.. Grrr

I now subscribe by direct debit - it was after a longish stay in hospital when the last thing I thought about was lottery tickets! used to buy them four weeks at a time, same numbers and I couldn't bring myself later to check even if I had remembered where my slips were! but now I do, just very occasionally get an email saying I've won something, I rush to the site in case it's life changing, but £3 credit from the Euro lottery is still welcome!

GlasgowLass you can take comfort in the fact that, according to Chaos Theory, if you had remembered to buy that ticket, then a different set of numbers would (priobably) have been drawn.

If a regular player is willing, it would be really interesting to know....
.....Did you cover the outlay in the last 12 months?

Although a few might be fortunate and make a profit, its likely that the majority don't.
Between us we might buy 2 lines a month & certainly haven't recouped the cost. A family member organises a work syndicate with more lines. The same applies there.

Under the old system there was a one in 56.7 chance of winning £10.

If you enter one ticket for all the draws that works out at just under two £10 wins per year. That seems to be roughly the frequency of my wins.

When it was £1 per go that returned £20 for an outlay of £104 per year.

Premium Bonds sound a better investment - at least you'd get the capital back ;-)

when I worked at our local hospital, one of the ward syndicates had a kitty of just over £160 - they spent the lot on lucky dips and didn't win a penny
