a friend had to put my one back to factory settings so i am able to access what i need but as its only 9 years young i will have to replace it but it is so expensive.
Can't go without as it is my lifeline as i am housebound. Isn't it a bummer ;-)

thanks for that but i am a bit of a nerd, so what doe sit mean and how can it be remedied ?
I have firefox and chrome with windows7

Chrome will be withdrawing support from XP soon ; already installed Chrome will go on working with warning message.

Firefox are pulling support for Flash ( used by BBC iPlayer and some YouTube etc)

JAVA latest security fixes will not install on XP..
