So many I would wish for, My dad and my Gt Aunt Nellie because I loved them.. My maternal Gran as I would love to know who is Mums dad, My gt gt gran paternal not just because I would like to know a hubby but I think she was a feisty lady and I have empathy for her. My Father in law so I can tell him what a shit he was and so what he missed out on. and last but not least my Minx,

oh and Maggiewinchester´s Gran because I think she must have been a great lady and she would make me laugh the whole dinner

We have a selection of daughters, sons-in-law, grandchildren and my sister plus an extra one or 2 dogs almost every Sunday.

I am truly blessed :-)

My gran!!
What did she do with her children when she was in prison?
Did she ever meet her 4+ half siblings (just found out she had half siblings - there may be more - research needed!!)
Who was my dad's dad?????

Edit - having watched the video - we regularly have extended family gatherings that involve dinner around a table :-D

My late much loved mother-in-law who died suddenly just 3 weeks before our eldest daughter was born in 1974, also my late and equally loved father-in-law who died suddenly 13 days after the birth of daughter number 3 in 1984. They never met daughter number 4.

My husband would just love to be sure they had seen his daughters who he is so very proud of.

I was lucky enough to have my parents until Dad died in 2004 and Mum in 2011 and am absolutely certain they watch over us and haven't missed out on anything :-)

Atticus Finch

"I wanted you to see what real courage is, instead of getting the idea that courage is a man with a gun in his hand. It's when you know you're licked before you begin but you begin anyway and you see it through no matter what. You rarely win, but sometimes you do."

Ann, probably when you tried to delete the extra messages and got the error message, it did actually delete the message.

Likewise when you posted it originally it did post although all you saw was the error message. So if you pressed submit again when nothing appeared to be happening, it posted an extra copy..

My maternal grandfather. Then I could ask him about his service in WW1. My paternal grandfather, then I could ask him why he deserted his family.
