With daughters wedding now just over 3 weeks away, we are in the process of organising all the fine details.... and arty younger daughter is in charge of creating the Table Names and Place Cards, favours etc

One of the invitees is bringing a guest.
The guest wasn't named on the RSVP, just says XXX plus "Guest" but, we do know that the same guest has requested a gluten free meal.

Today, my future son in law called the invitee and my daughter overheard the conversation.
"OH that's great .Thank You" says future son in law.

He turns to my daughter and tells her that gluten free guest has a name.
She is called... Mary.
"Mary who? Or is she like Madonna or Beyonce, who don't ever need to use a last name?
The hotel needs to know who the special meal is for and we need to know for for seating plan and table setting "

"I never thought to ask" he says

:-D :-D

Put a star or sticker on her card, and tell the hotel that that indicates the person who wants the gluten-free meal

I go to a banquet every year and need a lactose-free meal, and that is what the organisers do for me.
