Don't you just love Spring? As I reached our front door we had plenty of daffs, narcissi and snowdrops waving at me - love it. <3

And ... lo and behold, I've just heard the tinkling chimes of the ice cream van somewhere in the distance. All the little dahlinks (Ann, be pleased yours are at school) must be chomping at the bit for a bite of the creamy, cold stuff :-D :-D

Just had a call from Dtr to say that the young 'un went to school as a giant peach this morning. She made his costume last night - very artistic she is and she certainly does not get it from me. :-S

Are you sitting for England this morning, Fly? :-D

Do they get a prize for the best outfit :-D

I am not sure, Fly, but if they do, I'll be able to tell whether he has got a prize because there'll be a big grin on his face when I pick him up. :-D

This week he's made up a game after school called 'Pigs Take Over'. It's complete with a wheel and pointer and a couple of counters to take you around the board. it works very well indeed and I think he's got his Mum's creative streak. <3

Ooooooo an inventor in the making :-D clever lad :-D

Think I'll join you Fly. Picked up a couple of packs of mint crumbles in Poundland on the way back this morning so I'll watch some things I've taped now, after putting some washing in. (Ought to get it dry outside, I hope.)

K is out doing his thing this morning so I have the house to myself and I certainly ain't doing housework.

GP, when I walk into the town half of the way it's along the riverbanks. A lovely walk as the view of the Cathedral is there almost all of the way. :-D

JL - It is a lovely walk and the views are very picturesque - an artists dream. When I visit Durham and have my Chinese I will have a quiet stroll along the riverside. ;-) ;-)
