Magpie, I know what you mean. It would make sense for us to have separate rooms but I hate the idea. We always start in the same room but one of us often moves to a spare room in the middle of the night.

Oh swears he doesn´t snore.......he just breathes heavily.
Well, I can hear him breathing heavily through the wall.
He was banished to a seperate room a couple of years ago.
He often swears he has been awake nearly all night.
I would question that.

LOL Vera. You sound like me.I am often moving out in the middle of the night .Short trip along the landing with my special pillow under one arm ,my Kindle and bottle of water under the other.I go to my Daughters bed..I am so glad she lives in London :-D :-D
I think my OH would be quite happy to have separate beds as we definitely get better nights sleep apart. But I don't want to go down that road just yet.I do get a bit miffed though as it is always me who has to move out.He refuses to budge :-S

You would think a few weeks into a marriage the couple would become used to each other, but no.
Lack of sleep despite being so tired tends to make an individual very vexed

My stepfather used to snore, and my mother used to potter off to the spare room, but always went back in time for early morning tea!!
Surely snoring shouldn't be a problem for newly weds!! There's no question of us sleeping separately unless one of us is away as neither of us can sleep properly away from our own bed even if one of us is ill. So we just snuggle up and make the best of it!!

A few years ago when we shared the same ded, my wife was very poorly with
gasto enteritis. Immediately after her recovering, I went down with the worst chest infection / cold old of my life. It lasted a couple of weeks.
During this sick period we hardly slept, and never snored.

I've always snored, so it's probably just as well I live on my own!!
Except the cats, who used to sleep on my bed, have now moved to another room :-(
When I go camping with my sister, I wear those strips on my nose.

My eldest snores too. As a child, she went camping with friends in a long back garden.
After an hour, she was moved - tent and all - to the very bottom of the garden :-(

I never knew I snored until I went on holiday with my sister - she was fit to kill me and had apparently turned me over and tried all sorts to stop me - my husband had never ever mentioned it, which made me feel awful cos if he just grunted in bed I gave him a dig with my elbow :-D

I go on holiday with a friend and we take ear plugs - I do have those nose strips and they do work

The lady that does for me in the mornings has a OH who snores. She hasn't a spare bedroom so most nights she sleeps on the settee. Must be a misery for the sufferer.
