I just went into my Spam in my gmail account and there were 2 suspicious emails supposedly from my cousin in Kent, with two different email addresses. It was yahoo mail. I deleted them unopened.

Someone was using her email account last year to ask for money! :-0 :-0 :-0

I shall write to her (by royal mail! :-| ) and let her know!

As Rollo says Malwarebytes is very good, but be sure you only download the free version it is a stand alone run as required one and so will not conflict with your own security suite. The upgrade / paid version runs all the time and so will be liable to cause conflicts.

Yahoo's mail servers are not experiencing any kind of problem. Thus most likely some kind of malware has installed itself to yr computer.

Malware bytes (use free option) will usually fix such problems.
After MB has done its stuff make sure to change yr yahoo password.
