How is your vision?

I got the same results, despite the fact I have epiretinal membranes in both eyes, that mildly impair/distort my central vision.

I got the same too. Maybe everyone does! lol.

Mine aren't twisted Liz.

Optic nerves, so the eye hospital told me, go from brain to eye in a straight line. Mine go into the eye at an angle. :-0

There's no treatment necessary and it is likely to be an inherited condition. I read without glasses and I still have excellent hand-eye co-ordination.

I love this kind of amusement.

My outcome was the same as yours Scozz, Lilybids, Shirley and Andysmum and, as I'm also getting on a bit (way beyond 70) and I have what I term as kinky optic nerves discovered at an eye hospital, I wonder whether everyone who does this 'test' gets the same reading?

I'll now have a look at the site Rollo directed us to. :-D

The real thing is here ( JARS2 )
http://www.academy.org.uk/reference/civilavi.htm
but it is not so much fun. Private flying used to be fun but not any more at least in the UK.

A Segway is (was) a two wheeled self balancing pavement scooter. The idea of it was to become an eco friendly way of getting around town. However in the UK Highway Authorities and the police vetoed it. It would have been a hazard for pavement parking and McLaren baby buggies. As it happens the inventor died after falling off his Segway possibly while texting.

A cheap and nasty Chinese copy ( without the self balancing ) was on sale in the UK around Christmas but lost popularity after quite a few spontaneously caught fire just like Chinese iPhone power adapters.

David Cameron believes that the Chinese are the ideal people to trust with a large nuclear power station for generating electricity near Bristol. Boooom.

Mine too!

I have also had cataract ops (which improved my vision), and wear bi-focals......

BUT, I also have different specs for computer work - so this is not really a fair comparison.

What's a Segway?

Must be all those carrots he eats........ but he keeps tripping over his ears.

Do you have the vision of a pilot?

I took this test....

http://www.buzzhearts.com/en/blog/do-you-have-a-pilots-vision/119/

:-S

Result.....

Your eyesight and your brain are connected in a very powerful way.
Your brain works faster than 95% of the human population when it comes to identifying objects, colors and faces. Your eyes and brain have an amazingly fast connection and you comprehend and analyze situations with an almost super-human speed.

Not bad for a 65year old who wears multi-focals and has night blindness.

Next time (if ever) I get on a plane, I want to test the pilot's eyesight.....if it's worse than mine, I'll catch a train.
