If you thought that the only things to worry about in the Australian surf were sharks and jelly fish, think again:-0

I'm not looking - one of the reasons I would never wish to visit Australia is because there are far too many things there that can kill you - my husband went there twice, coast to coast with the Welsh choir he was a member of - he loved it, but me - no way

Even the drop bears are lethal :-D :-D

What the Koala's evil twin, thylarctos plummetus, surely they aren't lethal. Unless the locals die laughing.

You wouldn't want to try cuddling one; they can weigh up to 120 Kgs ;-)

I'll see if I can find one next time I'm in Margaret River, one of the premier surfing spots in WA.

I'd like to see how they can keep their eight legs on the surf boards ;-) :-D :-D

Ooooh......... next time we go fishing, we'll take Brian.

My gt nephew Brian is a resident of Brisbane. He loves to play Australian Rules Football and hates pommies. Now all is understood. Life of Brian.

If it can eat cane toads why aren't they breeding it in number to be airdopped on the plentiful food supply ?

Try this: dop something light on some still water e.g. a feather. It will float on the surface tension. Lots of insects and some spiders can do this. Fish are well aware and tend to take advantage.

Hot prawns and icy cold beer .... Australian plain cooking.

Sharks are harmless unless you invade their space or interrupt dinner. Only an idiot would do that.

:-D

Chuck another BEEF (STEAK) on the barbie :-D

Chuck another prawn on doesn't have the same ring to it, does it?

LadyScozz Report 13 Mar 2016 09:20

If you're having cold prawns, you drink beer.

If you're having bbq'd prawns, you drink wine... or whatever you want.. no fixed rules.

Prawns & scallops, a wee bit of ginger & garlic, on the bbq... YUM.

If you want octopus, make sure it isn't a blue ring one. :-0
