One of those days that I'll never forget.
I remember exactly where I was and what I was doing when the NewsFlash came on TV.

I watched the live feed as the police chief made his announcement to the waiting press.
15 children and one teacher had died . One child was in a critical condition.

I was so shocked to discover that the families of those little 5yr olds ( dead and dying) were still waiting at the safe house and STILL hadn't been told anything.

The world had been told what had happened .... and those poor parents were still kept waiting for news.

We have recorded the documentary and have yet to watch it.
Such a tragedy, and so heartbreaking for everyone concerned.
May the little ones continue to RIP and the teacher too.

The tears of a nation are falling,
As we remember this sad day.
When in Dunblane, a madman
Took sixteen young lives away.

Your spirits were so special,
so perfect, and so pure,
You deserved to grow up happy
Without this sad end to endure.

Our thoughts are with your families
I'm sure words cannot explain,
How much their hearts were broken,
And how they lived each day in pain.

But like the little drops of rain
That on our still Lochs fall,
Your stories made little ripples
That touched the hearts of all.

5 million prayers won't bring you back
We know because we've tried
5 million tears won't bring you back
We know because we've cried.

So often we look for answers
To the endless questions why,
And often we bow down our heads
With another tear to cry.

So for each day that we live on
We willl never truly be apart,
For in every day that passes
You'll be right here in our hearts.

God bless your little souls.

We must not forget the children (including Andy Murray) who were in the School that day and especially those who were injured but survived and who still bear the mental and physical scars.

I watched the Dunblane documentary the other evening it was so sad. The most poignant part for me was when the police officer read out the names of the children that had been killed, each child's name was followed by " aged 5", it seemed never ending!

RIP all those innocent children and their teacher <3

Today is the 20th anniversary of the deaths of
16 children and their teacher.
The children were all five years old.

The massacre was one of the deadliest mass murders
in UK by gunman Thomas Hamilton.

RIP
