It gets better and better :-S

Just had a 'phone call from the Hospital. My appointment on Monday was for 8.30am......... now they want me there at 6.45am!!

Thanks goodness we (in NSW) are on Daylight Saving and Qld (where the hospital is) isn't.... so the appointment is 7.45am my time. I'm usually awake sometime between 6.30 & 7, so that shouldn't be a big problem.

I checked......... we don't finish daylight saving until the weekend after Easter.

The good thing about it.... the sooner I get there and go through the probe, the sonner I can eat!

a wee bit better

Two loads of washing are on the line

I've had lunch.......... and cheered myself up with a Mars bar :-D

I'll make sure to get something really nice for dinner tomorrow, because after that I'm on the boring "pre-probe" diet for five days.

There's only so much steamed fish, steamed potato & steamed pumpkin a person can take!

This year will be the first St Paddy's day I've gone without a drink! and........ I'm not allowed to eat anything green :-D

Himself dropped me off at the doctor's this morning, for an 8.15 appointment.

Shopping to do after that... supermarket, chemist, stationery shop etc etc

At the reception desk, found out I was a day early!! :-(

OK, I'll dawdle my way around the shops, as Himself isn't coming back until 11am.

No wallet. No credit cards. :-0

Surgery really busy..........I went to the physio's rooms...(have an appointment with him on Thursday).. and begged them to let me use their 'phone! No problem....had to leave a voicemail (converted to text) for him to come get me, as wrong day, no wallet etc.

Waiting for him at our "usual pick-up spot" in the carpark......... saw the car....... where's he going? to the surgery........ arrrgh......... hobbled over there.

Saw him walking towards me with a big fat wallet in his hand (bless him).... but it was the wrong wallet........ :-(

There's a nice little pile on the table now....... shopping bags & my small wallet!

10:01 now, I feel like I've had a full day already!

Coffee pot is blurbling...........
