some tips which sound rather good - take care - I had one saying you could make cheese on toast in an ordinary toaster just by turning it on it's side!! sounded feasible, sounded good, and as I'm partial to cheese on toast I gave it a go

Result - the toaster caught fire and is now knackered - had to buy a new one - and by the way - the toast was charcoal :-D :-D :-D :-D

Although I really like cheese on toast and have been trying to figure out how to make it, hmmmmmmmmmmm aside from the toaster catching fire :-0 I would think all the cheese would fall off the bread.

Are people that gullible nowadays??????????

Was that "tip" from a company that makes toasters?

Sneaky way to get the toaster sales up.

the cheese does not fall off the bread cos the toaster is on it's side :-P

Microwave it
toast the bread in your new toaster :-)
Put the cheese on, stick it in the microwave for 20-30 seconds just until the cheese melts
Voila cheese on toast with no burnt bits around the edge
