Too arrogant by far, in my humble opinion.

Off to the food bank Mr Ian Duncan Smith. lol
Maybe not

Elizabeth2469049

Elizabeth2469049 Report 19 Mar 2016 09:05

But he says he was objecting to the cuts - does this mean the cuts are still to happen?

maggiewinchester

maggiewinchester Report 19 Mar 2016 09:33

Osborne said, the day after the election, that the cuts will be reviewed.

As Duncan-Smith actually has no conscience, despite what he says in his resignation letter, I should imagine he's leaving for other reasons - like running for leadership.

Dermot

Dermot Report 19 Mar 2016 10:04

Childish decision.

Cheerio & may your feet go with you. :-P

Linda Report 19 Mar 2016 10:09

Like Ann I will not miss him but maybe making IDS the fall guy they thought would put Osbourne in a better light but it did not work

maggiewinchester

maggiewinchester Report 19 Mar 2016 12:28

IDS has been replaced by Stephen Crabb - another one who has both overclaimed expenses and voted for the £30 cut to ESA :-(

Dermot

Dermot Report 19 Mar 2016 12:49

"Ye are grown intolerably odious to the whole nation; you were deputed here by the people to get grievances redress'd, are yourselves gone! So! Take away that shining bauble there, and lock up the doors. In the name of God, go!" And go now! (Oliver Cromwell). :-P

I know Stephen Crabb, have met him and he was always good for sponsoring youngest in her charity fund events.

However, power changed him and he no longer appears to care what happens beyond the end of the M4 Westbound (as he promised).

Shall I delete him from my contacts?

AnnCardiff

AnnCardiff Report 19 Mar 2016 13:27

might as well

maggiewinchester

maggiewinchester Report 19 Mar 2016 13:53

I would, Sue. He also 'approves' of food banks, in other words is happy for people to starve!!!!

Kense

Kense Report 19 Mar 2016 16:03

I reckon. the IDS resignation has .more to do with trying to get the support of the disabled and sympathisers for Brexit.
