Crabb is the perfect yes man. Given that he will not be expected to implement further cuts ( other than the substantial ones still coming down the line ) he will be taking as low a profile as possible. Crabb will have his hands full sorting out the utter shambles created by IDS which has become the monkey on the back for the weak, the old, the diabled, the Treasury, local government, hapless IT firms ... the list is endless.

No doubt I.D.S will now feel free to peddle his version of the truth with the brexiters. All I can say is that anybody who believes a word he says will fully deserve their fate. The rest of us will not.

Except in the insane and fevered world of the follower's of Says Law government deficits are of no great concern so long as the Treasury has no problem financing them. Comparing the finances of a nation with those of a large business (say) let alone a family displays either s perverse foolishness or the principles of a scoundrel.

I know Stephen Crabb, have met him and he was always good for sponsoring youngest in her charity fund events.

However, power changed him and he no longer appears to care what happens beyond the end of the M4 Westbound (as he promised).

As Duncan-Smith actually has no conscience, despite what he says in his resignation letter, I should imagine he's leaving for other reasons - like running for leadership.

But he says he was objecting to the cuts - does this mean the cuts are still to happen?
