how do I find out what my subscription covers

I would go further than DET, and say that this site is NOT being updated with new records. We seem to be languishing in a sort of no-man's-land .......... minimal staff in the GR office, replies only to emails, etc etc etc.

Is GR being updated with new records?
Well, lets put it this way – I don’t receive emails saying that various records have been added.

On the other hand, a dormant account on its sister site Findmypast does send out such emails. GR gets its record results from the FMP server.
It might be an idea to take out a free or trial account with FindMyPast then if you spot a record you’re interested in, repeat the search on Genes.

If you’re still interested in Military Records, do remember that if your Dad served after 1920, his will still be with the MOD. In addition, over 70% of WW1 full records were destroyed in a WW2 fire.

a few years ago I upgraded to platinum I though it gave me military records since I am searching g for stuff about my Dad Albert Luther Hadley. Also does any on know if this site is being up dated with new records ? :-)
