I have been reading about the uses and health benefits of Apple Cider Vinigar. Has anyone used it, or has any information. Lots of information on Google, but I would appreciate some first hand knowledge.

Thank you.

I have, in the past, used it for indigestion and it did seem to work. But not used it recently.

I was going to start enjoying the benefits of Apple Cider Vinegar until i read that it increases the risk of bladder cancer, and so having had bladder cancer i decided not to use it.

I know it has a lot of good write ups but as with any herbal or natural product there are also often side effects which people are not aware of so do read up about it as much as you can before taking it or any herbal medication.

I use it....... but not particularly for health reasons.

A slug in with corned beef, terrific in a salad dressing, in the sauce when I make ribs for Himself........ lots of things.

I don't think I fancy drinking it neat. :-0

LS ........

you don't drink it neat!!

The acid would make a mess of your oesophagus and stomach linings!

I think 1 recommended dose that I saw when I was googling it earlier was 1 tsp (or was it 1 tbsp?) in a LARGE glass of water, and that was to be drunk slowly over 2 meals.

I can't remember what I tried, I think it was 1 tsp in a glass ..... but I know it wasn't pleasant tasting and didn't seem to do any good!

Only the naturopath / homeopath sites recommended drinking it. Any site with any medical knowledge said any good effects were "not proven".

Mind you, they did say it wouldn't do any harm, as long as you didn't drink it neat or in large amounts.
