Little things mean a lot Shirley. What a special gift that was, and made even more special when your family came to give this to you. You are trying so hard. Well done. xx

What a lovely gift...So thoughtful and individual and I can well imagine how moved you were.

It's lovely that they actually visited too to give it to you.
Very special.

Our grandson and his wife and 7 year old grt grandaughter have been up to see me for my birthday on Tuesday. He is on the continent all week as is a Lorry driver so can't join us on Tuesday for a family meal .

Grandaughter in law is an amateur singer and is now taking singing lessons and entering local competitions and concerts

They wanted me to open their birthday card and a disc fell out written on it Where do I Begin by Angela d--------

At Michael's funeral we had two pieces of classical music ,and the final piece as the curtains closed was my tribute to Michael of Shirley Bassey singing that song from Love Story .

Grandaughter in law hired studio time in Jan and spent all day making the recording

She sang it so well . I had some tears as it played but assured her it was because she did such a lovely thing for me .

She said it was fun making it but it was difficult doing a Shirley Bassey song as she wanted it to be her and not copying Shirley s interpretation

My family are wonderful, they worry about me and how I am coping
