Coffee at M & S, a little shopping, a new doorbell at Homebase ready for our new door next week and hey, ho, home again. Weather decent here and NOT cold. :-D

Just had a live chat with an M & S person regarding something I asked for at the check-out. If I am wrong, I ain't gonna tell you what stuck in me craw cos you'll laugh at me but if I am right (and I am fairly sure that I am ;-) ) I'll let you all know.

So, there I am turning up for an agreed appointment, on the dot if not a bit earlier.

Question: How long would you expect to be left standing there like a wally in the rain having rang the door bell & knocked repeatedly just in case the bell was out of action?

Never wanting to give up too easily, I stuck it out for a good 10 mins - "Bugger this" I mumbled to myself & wandered off back to the car. Started the engine & was just moving off when she, who invited me, appeared waving frantically to gain my attention. I waved back & drove home. I'm sure she enjoyed her own home-made scones & jam. :-P
