I lived on the sea front in Barmouth,but don't think that has been affected,but they did change the current when they built the bridge over to the island.

A lovely area to live in..I live up a hill now,still with sea view so think it is safe.
Maybe have to move down when I can't drive,but I would miss the sea if I had to move away.

Every time Ramsgate is in TV
Our Harbour side apartment is always shown
We where so happy there
It makes me home sick for the peace and quiet

But the Boro is my real Home :-D :-D

In hindsight it was a good move to sell, and for a number of reasons it was sensible, but no I am not settled here :-( and I miss the garden most of all.

You said they got it at knock down price,but maybe a good thing you sold when you did?

Brenda I called Dan to come and watch, as we know the people who were featured, the couple who said they moved there about 8 years ago bought my bungalow! They got it at a knockdown price, but spent a lot extending it, so are very out of pocket.

I just saw it Rose...brings back memories for me...it's so sad to see people losing the value of their homes .
Used to go on the little railway there as my friend Mr Wilkins from Bonddu owned it.
I wonder what will happen and will they get help to make defences!
