Thought the valuations were supposed to be Auction prices?
You then get the thorny problem of valuation for Insurance which is a completely different ball-game.

Not sure what you mean about your rellies, Rollo. Are they selling their own property or things owned by others but stored in their attic? :-S

One of our rellies will try anything to pay the bills. It has been pointed out that not putting the heating on tends to co$t mould and damp in the long run ... especially annoying to see them auctioning off other people's supposedly lost property but actually in the capacious loft. They have managed to prise the fee out of the Beeb three times!

-fwiw you'd be more than lucky to buy at the valuations given from a respectable place though you might match them at auction. Their off the cuff know how is impressive but then so was Lovejoy's.

We like to watch and do have some bits that it would be good to have valued/explained, but the queues are horrendous and, even though one is nearby I don't think we'll be going. Actually just noticed, won't be around anyway.

Thanks for the list AnnC. We both like to watch this programme. There are always interesting items brought along each week. We also see some small objects that we remember seeing in our childhood homes and wonder what happened to them????

when I used to watch it with my mother she would always say things like "we had one of those - I threw it out"!!!!

Probably haven't anything of 'value' to take along, Ann.
We frequently watch the programme though!
