This lady passed away today from pancreatic cancer aged 83.

Be at rest now. <3

Oh that is really sad.

I knew she was poorly, in fact she spoke via the telephone on the programme the week before last.

Such a lovely, gentle, caring lady.

That's very sad. She seemed a very caring lady with a lot of common sense and sensible advice

She did say some time ago ,on the morning programme ,that she had been diagnosed with cancer and was going to go down fighting

I'm very sad to read this.

I had also heard that she was suffering with cancer.

She was a kind and lovely, genuine lady, with a real empathy for other people's suffering.
You couldn't fail to warm to her, seeing her weep with those who were pouring their hearts out to her!

I too, saw this on This Morning. She was only diagnosed a short time ago, but sadly, this disease progresses quickly.
A truly wonderful, caring and genuine lady. She used her experience and empathy to help so many people. She will be missed so much.
Now at peace and free of pain, but will be fondly remembered by many.

Such sad news. I often bumped into Denise Robertson at Durham station several
years ago. She had no airs or graces and was a wonderful warm hearted lady.

RIP Denise Robertson. My condolences to her family and friends.

So sad that someone so kind and caring should have to suffer at the end of her life. Rest in peace, Denise, you will never be forgotten by so many people especially those you helped through difficult times. My thoughts to your family and friends.
