playing.

Mini is now old and rarely wants to do things but today she wanted to play catch me. This is a chase around on the bed, I go one way she goes the other. I nearly didn´t as I wanted to make the bed, but remembered that I won´t have her much longer. So I spent 10 minutes playing and that 10 minutes has brought such a smile to my face, The bed got made eventually but who cares if it didn´t, watching my oldie have fun meant so much more. :-D :-D

Oh that is so lovely ,we lost our dear old Toby in the photo in Nov ,yesterday we picked up our new 8 week old black Lab ,last night was quite a sleepless night as he wanted to keep with me so i slept on the floor on cushions off the sofa , things we do for our pets ,hopefully tonight he might be a bit more settled

We lost our old girl Mirabelle in July 2013 , I thought no way could I go through that again . In June last year I said to hubby I do miss having a cat ,he said so do I , so maybe we could look at the local cat protection rehoming centre.

Took a bit of soul searching do we want to go down this route again but decided to take a look ,maybe for an older female cat who needed a home . We thought of an older cat as we were both on the older spectrum and maybe couldn't offer a long term home because of our ages .

Well we ended up with a two year old male cat who needed a home cos his owners had been evicted . We homed him in June

Hubby got ill in Aug and was hospitalised so I was the sole feeder and provider .hubby passed away in oct

Mr Tibbs has been a reason now for me to get up in the morning and to keep going

He is an active almost three year old who needs attention ,even if it's annoying scratching at furniture that has had to be protectived with anti scratching tape.

I know he will have me up around. 6.39 am by scratching so I get upmtomfeed him .

He really keeps me going though

We are going to lose our goldie puppy on 16th May when he goes off to Canine Partners to be assessed as to his suitability for advanced training.
He is now 15 1/2 months and at over 33 kilos is very big boy.
We had him at 12 weeks and will be sad to say goodbye but hope he makes it as an assistance dog for a disabled person, if so he will make such a difference to their quality of life.

That is a brilliant thing to do Brian and as you say those dogs make such a difference to someone's life. It's good you have played a part in getting him ready for his advanced training. I thought about getting involved with puppy walking for dogs for the blind but found I was too far away for them to consider me.

Uzzi that play on the bed will be a nice memory to keep for when she's no longer around and it sounds like you both had a good time!
