Gareth Thomas who played Blake in Blake's 7 has died aged 71.

Watched all the Blake's 7 episodes, our son loved it.

RIP condolences to his family. <3

Blake's7 was wonderful and Gareth Thomas flat low key way of running his crew a big part of it. I discovered a set of series1 DVD on eBay a while back ... great for days when nothing much on the box (often).

Cant' help wondering if they will play this at his funeral - it is the bees knees on an organ.

I have been trying to think of the name of the children's series he was in in the late 1970s. I used to like it. A bit scary though!

I just remembered it was called "Children Of The Stones"
