Three years since those two silly buggers locked themselves in the van at the ferry port.

Time flies Sharron. It´s coming up 3 years now since I sold Mum´s house and was getting ready for the BIG move, just for her to make me an orfling 5 days later.

Unfortunately, or fortunately, P. Is unable to go home, no-one to look after him (his wife is too frail to do much) and no space for a bedroom other than a bed in the lounge. The only downstairs loo is outside. The house is the same style and layout as my childhood home and I know how difficult it was for my Mum to cope with living on the ground floor after her heart attacks.

P. is righthanded but has tremors now so can't even write very well or use his laptop.

Fred didn't do much in the way of physiotherapy, prefering to use his left hand rather than work on his right. He had always been right handed.

They are very keen to write them off. Fred was sent home to die I think because he was making no progress.

It took him seven years to find the time.

Time flies, Sharron, I think we all miss the boy Fred and your tales. I dread to think of his exploits in a different place without your steadying influence lol

After his stroke on Nov. 29th, O.h.'s father is now in an interim care home for ten days more while a permanent place is found for him. He wouldn't participate properly in the rehab physiotherapy so has no use or feeling in his left leg and little movement or strength in his left arm. He has plenty to say for himself ordering people about and complaining but if you would like to borrow him to refresh your skills, I am sure it can be arranged. He is 84.
Everyone is at their wit's end with him here lol

Go downtown, I'm sure you can find an elderly person who will follow you home.

They are everywhere! :-D

I too miss your tales of his outings and exploits.
What a character.

His rosemary is growing well, by the way.

I have to wash up and do my own washing.

Maybe I could find some other elderly, disabled person to exploit mercilessly.
