It's a pity that the thing was so lengthy as it would have put a lot of people off reading it. It confirmed my ideas regarding the manufacturing and financial industries as well as a couple of other beliefs. I was not keen on the algebraic-type calculations from about page 150 which I thought could be a little obscure for some of us but I stuck with it.

Rollo, with the Gove piece I scrolled down as you said and wondered what he was on about - trains etc. I think he's only given half of the story in saying that the cost of travel will not increase. He's right in that actual travel costs may not cost more but when you factor in the costs of visas for EU countries you wish to visit, the total cost of travel is bound to be more. That's before any EU country decides that landing charges will increase - and I'm sure they'll think of that pretty quickly.
