I started at a very modern primary school just been built, when dad was posted further afield I ended up at this old Board school which was very dark and dingy with high Windows you couldn't see out of and no playing fields plus outside toilets :-0 :-0

They had a coal fire in the classroom and the dreaded inkwells which I had never used....my work was just like a big blue blob on the page...and the teacher was very unsympathetic to say the least :-0 :-0 :-0 :-(

I had a lovely afternoon at the nearby Waterpark.
Hand fed the swans! Had to bribe a goose to let me get to the swans :-D :-D :-D
Lots of different kinds of ducks and waterbirds. But very naughty seagulls! :-|
