...police in Manchester have apologised for having the "terrorist" in a simulated terror attack shouting "Allahu Akbar" as he set off his bomb. They were accused of "racial stereotyping". On the same page, a report of a genuine terror attack in Germany states...A German man shouting "Allahu Akbar" yesterday stabbed one person to death and slashed three others...

apparently the man in Germany had mental health problems and had nothing to do with terrorism

It's a bit silly. As you say, Bob, it was a simulated terrorist attack - and they're mostly ISAL based - and they appear to shout 'Allah Akbar', he was therefore not 'racial stereotyping', but 'terrorist stereotyping' - and the planks in ISAL are certainly stereotypes/caricatures of themselves
What was he meant to shout 'Come on now, chaps', or 'It's Christmaaaaas'?
Mind you, if he'd shouted the latter, he'd probably be accused of 'Birmingham stereotyping', but Slade would have got some royalties!!

Obviously decided upon by some twit who has no idea about provoking anti police sentiment.

I felt uncomfortable when I saw it and my Muslim friends were unimpressed.

I wonder what they shouted when they simulated an IRA terrorist attack?
