Overseas Marriages

Recently found the following when looking at some overseas marriage records.
The place was Jakarta overseas marriage register for 2005, Vol 1, Page 41.
Noted reference to it being a Type A7 marriage. Incidentally Genes Reunited had listed this as one of those ,"Exact Matches" between Victoria L Towell and Dene Oldfield Gittins. What does this Type A7 marriage reference imply?

I see they were both born in Yorkshire so probably an A7 marriage identifies a marriage where the couple are from overseas?

Not sure that AnnC's suggestion would be correct as the marriage is part of the gro 'marriages overseas' indexing system. As stated, the marriage took place in Jakarta.

Caldervale, you could email GRO and ask for clarification. If you do find out, please let us know!
