If the baptism is correct, Ancestry is linking the parents to this marriage

The witness - Thorn & Noughton? - might be proffessional witnesses rather than relatives. Marriage certs this early don't give occupations or father's names.

If, and a big IF, relevant then one would expect Robert W to have a number of siblings.

Who does he name as his father on his own MC?
