Isn't it just sods law! The last two days have been too wet, cold and windy for gardening but now it is sunny and warmer and I'm not feeling so good Grrrrr!!!! :-|

Lucky you Ann. I'm currently wearing two jumpers, warm trousers, socks and furry slippers - and very attractive I look too :-D

It's cold, grey and drizzly here but the heavy rain and wind have stopped at last. Apparently tomorrow is going to be at least 10 degrees warmer here but guess what......we are going to have thundery rain. Oh good.

So far it is sunny and warm here. However, Sunday week we go to the Lake District to our time share. The weather is rarely good that week. :-(

I hopefully suggested a holiday for next week, we were going to our usual cottage in Tideswell but because o.h.'s father is not doing very well in the care home, I thought we should stay closer to home so we cancelled the cottage. We will be in a caravan on our local coast. I will be taking warm clothes and waterproofs lol If I come back brown it will probably be rust!

I have to say, if there had still been a pair on gloves in my fleecey pocket (Fleecey jacket on June 1st!) when I took wee doggins out, I would have put them on! :-0 :-0

I wore my Christmas jumper to work - because it wasn't cold enough to wear it at Christmas :-(

I want some nice warm weather so I can take me car out.

Been persisting down here in Kent. The patio outside the back of the house only has an outlet into the ground gravel bed not into a mains drain so it's has limited capacity

The drain gets blocked up with silt so needs a clear out by hand of the silt till the gravel can be felt .

Even a jet wash takes a day to get the water to drain and has to be done in three jets as the drain will block

Big omg,s this morning as the water backed up and was almost to the back door thankfully the level was below the damp course

Thank goodness it stopped hissing it down and the drain has absorbed all the surplus water

Harold the tortoise decided his house was the safest place to stay !!

It has been hot and sunny all day - almost too hot for me!! It has been like this for several days now. Just a light breeze.......I could go on, but I won't. :-D
