I did that in the impoverished ag lab days.
I like broad bean tops - but not broad beans :-(

Broad bean tops. It seems you have to pinch the tops out of broad beans to stop blackfly , no, I don't know how either.

Waste not, want not (think Glasshopper) so we are having them as a vegetable.

It is not for the first time and they are delicious as, indeed, are the seed pods of radishes hat have been overlooked.
