His skateboard got stolen a few weeks ago. G and I were very relieved!
Then his Mum bought him another one for his birthday! :-| :-| :-| :-|

Jem, my older grandson (still at school and younger than yours) is always getting football injuries. He's just got the plaster off from a broken elbow and only before Christmas he was an emergency blue light case because of footy.

I stopped mentioning about being careful when most of my family said these things happen in hard tackles and he, himself, refuses to quit. :-0

I hope your grandson has a speedy recovery and takes heed of what you say. :-)

It's the third time he's come off since he took it up again a few months ago!

If you remember, he badly broke his collar bone nearly 2 years ago on his mate's!

We are hoping he will give it up now. He has said he will look for a SAFER hobby and if he does skateboard he will get himself some protective gear. He knows he has to think of the baby now. He loves him to bits.

I can see a difference in his thinking since Ashton arrived. So there's hope :-D :-D
But he's still so young himself!

Yes, he's home now thanks. :-)
He had gone out with a couple of friends Skateboarding :-|
He came off badly and they called an ambulance!

He has horrendously cut hands and wrist. A cracked wrist, very cut knees (and addidas trackies!) badly bruised hip and leg! But apart from that he's ok :-D

It was better than I expected. When G.D-In-Law phoned I thought he might be unconscious or have a broken neck. But I will wring his neck! :-|
