Freesias are my favourite flowers. I had some in my wedding bouquet and I would rather have a small bunch of them than any great big expensive bouquet. |

I also love sweet peas but the best perfume so far this year was from two huge white wisteria. Their perfume filled the whole garden |

I have a white azalea with a glorious perfume, and I can remember one at primary school which also had the beautiful scent, but modern ones dont seem to have it. |

Not the black lily. There was one flowering at the back of mum's garden when I was about 9 or 10 (more than 70 yrs ago) and I picked my way carefully over the other plants so I could smell it. I still gag at the memory of the smell. Uggghhh. |

Love the perfumes of freesias, roses(although I dislike rose perfume, bath oil etc), wallflowers, sweet peas, carnations (pinks), Mahonia, lilac, hyacinths, Lily of the Valley lavender, night scented stock, Nicotiana and probably lots more. :-) |

There is something in the garden that smell wonderful and I don't know what it is or even if it is in the front or back garden but, occasionally, there is a waft of it upstairs. |
