Someone has asked me if I would be willing to take photographs in my local area over several locations. Old houses, Churches relating to their family history, Graves, and such like.. Just wondering what people's views are regarding a price they would be willing to pay for such a service.. Many thanks |

I'd say that most genealogists seem to charge an hourly rate, about £15 to £25. Travel expenses being added. But also it depends on whether your photographs will be 'professional' and how you are going to provide them, eg actual developed photos sent to them, or uploading direct from a camera? |

A lot of genealogists will also take photos for others for free through various sites, eg FTF |
