Yes, and his original sentence for Culpable Homicide was five years :-|

I understand that the minimum sentence for murder in South Africa is fifteen years.

Needs to be confirmed, but I think that the Judge in this recent Trial was the same one from his original Trial.

Justice is indeed blind!

Absolutely disgusting. Reeva's parents and family will be devastated. They now have
a life time of grieving and heartache. He is the lowest of the low imho.

It took seven years to produce the Chilcot Report.

Give a copy to Pistorius. He should manage to read it within six years.

Decision down to Commissioner of Correctional Services IF he deems #OscarPistorius fit for correctional supervision

It's not nice to advocate a jail sentence for anybody, but it is vital that justice is administered in some form, evenly and fairly for all.

In the UK for example, the prison system is largely ineffectual & exorbitantly expensive.

If he were a 'nobody' from a Township, would the sentence have been the same?

Te best thing about the prison system, Dermot, is that locking up murderers, rapists and other vicious and persistent offenders is that while they're behind bars they're no longer in a position to murder or have a go at me and mine.

Taking that into account, it is a most efficient system.
