Don't worry about not sending a card, it's okay. I hope that your cough will soon start to get a lot better and that any problems will improve.

Hi Sallie

I am glad you had lots of cards and messages and sorry I didn't send you a card. I haven't been very well, had a hacking cough which won't go, and what with all the worry of o.h's father in the care home, I have hardly been out as K's had the car all the time.

We did take G., and his fiancee and her lad, out for a meal earlier which was nice. The afternoon and evening turned warm and sunny. He had a busy weekend as they were at a wedding reception yesterday then out today.

Thank you everyone for your birthday wishes for yesterday. It is nice to be thought of by you all.

Liz,I had forgotten that it is G's birthday today, hope he is having a lovely day and that the weather is better today than it was for mine yesterday, we had heavy rain all morning until just after lunchtime, so I didn't do anything special. It was nice to get cards and phone calls from family and friends, so spent part of the day chatting to them all.
