No idea what's going on!

D wanted to stay here with us for the week. He's very tired and wanted to spend some time with us. So it came as a surprise when she said she was coming home.

OH was going to help him get the house tidy before she came back, as he has been struggling with it all.

It might be an expensive holiday then :-0 :-0

Wonder why they didn't stay the whole week...the weather maybe?

I'm not sure of the circumstances. I'm more inclined to think that the car wouldn't start.

G's Gran owns the Caravan. They were supposed to be staying for a week, but G texted D last night to say they were coming home today.
I hope they didn't break down while travelling cos G's Gran has MS and is in a wheelchair.

We have just had a text from GS1 who's out with friends at the moment.

He's staying here tonight after all. G's Granny's car has broken down.

They were all amazing. The last two were probably the least equipped to survive the longest (and irritating at times, but funny) but needed the money the most.

I think the runner up should have had a decent prize too. Even GS1 said it was unfair.

Yes he did. 3 men all lasted until the day before.

As winter was coming in, food was scarce and one had made a kayak from wood from a tree made into a skeleton and a sheet of tarpauline to cover it all and a wooden bar with washed up plastic bottles as balance.

It worked well for a while, but it capsized. He was soaked in freezing water in all his clothes and his only (up till then) dry boots. Half starved and too weak to get out of the water he tapped out, and who can blame him.

Another was going a bit crazy and had to give in as he thought he would die from hunger.

The winner had to stay an extra day as the last man, and they came to fetch him with his daughter to say he'd won

Oh gawd Fly.....I wouldn't last a day, I bet he deserved every penny :-D :-D

It was the last day of "Alone" last night Ann. The guy that won... it was 500,000 edited- dollars .. lasted 66 Days.

I wanted the woman with MS win, but she came 4th. All 4 of the last contestants outstayed last years winner by 10 days and they were half starved at the end.
