my uncle owned one of these - I have a picture of y.t. sitting on his lap "driving" (parked).

to say the least of it this series brakes/roadholding were a long way short of modern expectations so if yr piggy bank stretches to a 50s motor remember that!

you can get a decent Jag mkII for around £ 8K and they are a mucg better proposition if you like classics. I sold a Triumph Stag with orig V6 engine in good nick and only got £ 9 K for it :-(

Three speed transmission WITH overdrive. You don't come across that very often, especially not on a six cylinder engine.
