There was much clucking & cackling yesterday during my visit to the local poultry farm.

I shouldn’t have mentioned ‘Roasting Trays’ to the poor little fretful chicks.

Sunny and breezy here but lovely drying weather - lots of washing about to be hung out. :-)

We stayed a couple of nights in Norfolk too - passing along your neck of the woods G and visiting The Anchorage where our ancestors all lived at one time before travelling along the North Norfolk coast.

Had a good day with sis and family and they're staying with us for a couple of nights in August on their way to bonnie Scotland. <3 Suffolk is quaint in many places.

Dermot, good job you did not speak about stuffing. :-S

it's a lovely village, and I wouldn't mind living there, but things are a bit more expensive there ;-)

We did have an enjoyable time, thank you.

Yes, Gin, we have visited The Anchorage three or four times - mostly on our way to or from other places - and my ancestors lived there too. For the first time, we also visited Wells-next-the-Sea where my four times grandparents lived and had land.

Also, for the first time, we visited Sandringham House, museum and garden. We thought that nothing there was over-priced compared to some places we've visited. I'd recommend it.

Now ... everything back to normal. Off to Darlington shopping and lunch tomorrow with a pal.
