Sickening. Respect starts from the day you are born, unfortunately alot of parents don't have respect so how can they teach the little ones. I hope the 2 who were caught don't get a soft judge & hands out a severe sentence to them.

As the photo that has been posted on facebook shows one holding a gun I think they will be looked at very closely.

that facebook photo is quite chilling

"short sharp shocks" and "heavy sentencing" for this sort of behaviour in young people does not do good at all it just further brutalises them.

they are ill and should be treated by mental health .... unfortunately NHS mental health for young people is pretty well dead in the water as its funding has been cut to ribbons.

disgraceful - no charges for animal cruelty!!! I hope the RSPCA take the case on

There probably isn't any evidence to charge them with cruelty. Unless there are photos or witnesses, it's too difficult to prove.

on South Wales Police facebook page it says one of these scumbags had already cut a sheep's head off and he just got a slap on the wrist for it

Someone commented on there that the killers of Jamie Bulger probably were cruel to animals or killed them before they killed Jamie - that I can believe

The threat of using the Cat-O-Nine-Tails might be a useful message in deterring these & other miserable miscreants from continuing down that awful road of needless animal cruelty.

maggiewinchester Report 2 Aug 2016 00:36

The fact that these lads went out of their way to break in and steal the cats, they had baskets/ carriers to take them away, smacks of intentional ' wrong doing'.
It could be a mental health issue, but that would be an excuse.
I'd call it an ignorance/lack of morals issue.
These lads need to be questioned on many levels.
Moral, ethical, and their right to believe they should/ have the 'right'/ to behave in such a way.
It probably made them feel 'big' which isn't a mental health issue, it's to do with them being morally deficient, and, as Sharron said, total rectums !

Rollo, the short sharp shock I mentioned referred to Linda's grandsons when they were hurting their cat.
