It apoears that Keith has opened the PM. Perhaps he's found what he wanted?
Just so that Keith understands, no one who has posted here is a GR employee. Like you, we're all paying members.

Hello Keith,
You can access lots of old newspapers for free if you join Lancashire libraries.

http://www.lancashire.gov.uk/libraries-and-archives/libraries.aspx

Click on 'join a library' . I'm in Winchester, but belong to the Burnley Library :-D

Sometimes Less is More ;-)

From emails from the linked sister site FMP, it does appear that newspapers from the BNA are being added all the time. The corollary is that FMP-GR don't feature all that are available.

As Ann says, copy & paste some of the free results along with your search parameters and we can have a go at replicating the search.

As Keith is a new board user, PM sent advising of replies.

On Genes Reunited I was looking for a specific newspaper report of a Leamington Spa woman being sent to prison in Weymouth Sept 1915.. for leaving a baby under a bush, and got a total "0 records"? Though, when checking again via the Newspaper Archive site direct, there were a number of reports from all over the country!
Why can't I retrieve this info through Genes Reunited? Do I really have to enroll in Newpaper Archives to be shown the records?
