Getting a refund on a subscription

How can I get a refund? Genes Reunited does not work for me.
One person sent a message giving access to his tree but it does not work. I clicked thru but it does not link to his tree.
I've looked all over the web page and can't see where my shared trees might be.
"My tree" is showing 15 persons in it and I have no idea who they are.

Unhappy ....

You'll have to contact them and talk to them about it. Not sure you can get a refund though!

Hi Beryl

Have you tried this

Click on MY TREE from the home page or at the top of any of the GR pages.

When your tree loads you will notice your name on the top.
Underneath your name should say "View other trees". If you click on that a Tree Dashboard should come up.

Click on "Trees shared with me" and that should take you to a list of peoples trees that you have been given access to. If the person who has given you access to their tree's name is not there perhaps they have forgotten to click on the section that allows you access to their tree.

but in general they do not offer refunds, as you have used your membership, and that shows that you have accepted their terms and conditions.

I had a refund for Parish Records a couple of years ago, when they didn't then have Pembrokeshire Records. They do now :-)

was that refund for an amount of the subscription or for credits that you had bought?

It was a refund on the Parish Records Add-On to my Platinum Subscription Sylvia. :-)

That might be why you got the refund, if it was an add-on to the subscription ............ they have refused to refund SUBSCRIPTION costs in the past if you have used the records or posted on the Boards.
