Doorbell.... ding dong

Opened the door, found two young men, both smiling, a bit "hippy" looking, long hair & beards, wearing jeans.

"Good morning! My name is Bob, and this is my friend Jess"

me "good morning"

"We were wondering.......... do you know God?"

:-S

I was a wee bit taken aback..... they weren't shiny Mormons with white shirts & ties, neither were they the usual JW types (pants up to the armpits, kind of timid looking)...

:-S

I just said "I don't think I want to continue this conversation"... and shut the door, they continued talking, and finished with "that's OK then".

I watched them out the window, waiting for the explosion when they went to next door........ what a disappointment, neighbour isn't home. It's always a bit of a treat to hear him bellowing at door-knockers and see them running up the road.

:-)

I wonder how people would react if I dressed up as a policeman and went round people's house asking if they knew God? :-S

:-D :-D
