Why put up another thread about reports if you didn't approve of the fun one Ann?

Part of this stems from the wording of the guidelines for message board use.

In particular the following under 'inappropriate content'

".....Please do not communicate anything that is, or could be considered, abusive, intimidating, discriminatory, threatening, mean spirited or intended to harass or cause (or be capable of causing) trouble, upset or offence to anyone......"

and within that the use of the words 'could be' and 'or be capable of......'

All an RR'er has to do is to say that the wording in a post might cause them to be upset, and no one is in a position to argue otherwise.

I don't think they can be bothered any more, Anne. They just delete.

As you probably remember I did state that I thought the itchy finger support thread was getting nasty. That was my opinion.

I must say thou that I am amazed at the amount of posts that are getting reported . Surely people know by the title of thread or the person posting if to avoid or not.

Was reading David's thread about breastfeeding and see that has disappeared like Sharon's spaghetti thread.

At one point threads got reinstated if genes thought they were OK. I don't see that these days.
