One goes to chill and read on site :-D :-D

Next door is the old parish church and burial ground which has wooded walks and access from the library......after I partook in a cappuccino I decided to explore and found a weird headstone....will try and transfer from phone to iPad.....

Yes Barb...I live in the Parish of Hawarden...and yes Gladstone spent his latter years living in Hawarden Castle....he was PM four times :-D

His father was a slave owner....and he Gladstone was against abolition...I wonder why :-)

Anyway when slavery was abolished the government compensated his father as he owned 2500 slaves....£106000.00 equivalent of 83 million today :-0
