A Sunday puzzle.

Our church Newsletter highlighted the lovely news that an elderly couple in attendance at the service had just celebrated 60 years of married life.

We were all invited to join the pair & their extended family in the lounge area at the end for a glass of wine & a slice of cake. Very nice thought.

We did - all 30 of us. Two bottles of wine were on the table along with a medium sized sponge cake.

I'm sure the wine was very nice if there was enough to go around & the kids devoured the cake in record time.

I still cannot understand it. Standing around with no drink or cake trying to make some 'small talk' was embarrassing.

Surprisingly, nobody is worse for wear here .... and only one more to show his face. :-D

K cooked us a lovely breakfast for all of us this morning.

The consensus is that we have another BBQ today. We've just told K who has cleaned everything this morning. He's up for it, I think, because he grinned.

He is a PARTY ANIMAL at heart. <3 :-D
