At least it wasn't pancakes, liberally sprinkled with salt. :-(

Well, I don't know where it came from.

Was making spag bol for tea. There is always a bottle of red wine by the stove to go in to the cooking and I know OH sometimes brings some wine home if he goes to a family do. (I don't ever go because I can't stand his family.)

I picked up the white wine bottle that had red wine in it and didn't thinjk anything of it when it fizzed a bit, how would I know what that lot might see fit to drink?

Put the usual stuff in the sauce, green OXOs, soy sauce, Worcester sauce, tin of tomatoes. Then I tasted it and it was bloody horrible!

It appears that the fizzy red wine must have been Vimto or something. The mince was sweet. I put a can of beer, red wine (proper stuff this time), Marmite, more green Oxo, black pepper, salt and STILL it tasted of Ribena or whatever it was.

It was vile but OH, Fred's mate and M ate it. I had a peanut butter sandwich.
