	You must be non-stop knitting Fly :-D :-D :-D My Shep was the gentlest, softest giant of a dog. He would cry at little frogs in the country park with his head cocked up to one side. He had a squeaky toy called Baby. He would pick it up so carefully incase it squeaked lol:-D The only time I ever heard him growl, was whenGrandson 1 was a small baby. G.S.1 was sitting on OH's knee, and Daughter was making faces at him. The dog thought she was threatening the baby and stood between the baby and daughter and growled at her!

	It's terrible Jem, the two year old was in a bad way and still in hospital and the 4month baby died, there was a fatality also in Essex in August..a three year old :-(

	Horrible dogs Jem we have a few in the village :-\| and i know at least 2 of them have bitten someone or attacked other dogs :-\|

	I think any dog however much part of the family can turn, our dog bit my daughter because he thought she was attacking her brother when in fact they were just fooling around :-0

	I hadn't heard about the staff. I am absolutely terrified of them since one attacked my Shep years ago when he was with me on a lead. It ran out from a flat and clamped it's jaws around Shep's throat. Only his collar, thick fur and excess neck fat... and cos he played dead, saved him. I was hysterical and had to be taken home by neighbours.

	Was terrible about the Stafford Bull attacking two children and their mum in Essex..it has to be your worst nightmare as a parent...so very sad :-(

	Not sure Fly....an experienced diver was in a shark proof cage under water and a great white broke through the side of the cage and came out through the top...it will probably be on YouTube by now. The diver escaped through the bottom and there were two more sharks underneath him :-0 :-0
